Yes, we deliver to all London areas, and all postcodes inside the M25. Please refer to our full delivery area map on this page above. The only days we typically don't deliver are Christmas Day, Boxing Day, December 27th, December 28th, December 30th and 31st, and January 1st and 2nd.
We usually need 48 hours notice, so if you order today, your birthday cake will be delivered the day after tomorrow - for example, order Monday for Wednesday delivery. We do get very busy around times such as Valentine's Day, Halloween and Christmas, so please order as far ahead as you can. Yes, once you've placed your order you'll receive a notification to say delivery is booked. You’ll receive a live tracking link on your chosen delivery day, so you can follow your birthday cake’s journey from our NW10 bakery to your front door.
We have two options for birthday cake delivery: Our ANYTIME delivery will arrive between 8am and 5pm, whilst our premium PRE-MIDDAY option arrives between 8am and 12noon. If you need a more specific timed delivery, or a direct private courier from the bakery to your event - reach out and talk to us, we'll be happy to look at options with you.
The cakes in our birthday cake collection are designed to look like the pictures you see on our website. They can be personalised with hand-piped birthday messages, and our Vintage Bling Cakes can be customised with additional piping and icing colours. Each cake's individual product description shows all of the personalisation options avaiable. Fully bespoke birthday cakes are more time-consuming and carry a higher price point. We have a range of Heart Shaped Cakes which can be personalised wth special messages. Many of them offer vintage-style piping with customisable colours.
All Flavourtown birthday cakes can be personalised with either a hand-piped message, or a message piped onto a sugarpaste plaque. There is an extra charge for this. You can also include a complimentary gift note with your order, simply fill out the Gift Message note box during checkout.
Ideally not. Keep your cake in a cool room and out of direct sunlight. If your house is hot, or in the unlikely event of a London heatwave, you should chill your birthday cake. Please remember to remove your cake from the fridge at least two to three hours before serving, otherwise the sponge will be hard and dense.
All Flavourtown birthday cakes (and the whole product range) are handmade in a kitchen that handles gluten, eggs, milk, soya, nuts and sulphites. We also use ingredients from suppliers who may handle sesame and peanuts in their factories. We cannot guarantee that any Flavourtown bakes are free from these allergens. Each individual product description has an allergens section with details for that specific cake.
