Galaxy Cakes and Galaxy Cupcakes

We had a blast making this Galaxy cake for one of our customers and accompanied it with a cute set of Galaxy cupcakes for an out of this world show stopping galaxy dessert table!

We thought long and hard How to make a galaxy cake look amazing and have that Flavourtown touch! We made the galaxy cake with 6 layers of colour marble sponge in blue, black and purple. We then covered our galaxy cake with chocolate buttercream and swirled in purple, pink and blue frosting for that intergalactic cake look! We finished it with a purple chocolate drip, gold shooting star splashes and a set of our super cute Galaxy macarons!

Our Galaxy cupcakes used the same kick ass Galaxy cake frosting and we finished these with edible pearls and stars.
