At Flavourtown, every vintage cake is individually hand-piped by our cake artists in our London bakery. The decorative borders and details are built up step by step, with each layer of piping adding texture and depth to the finished design.

Every vintage cake is baked fresh and individually hand-decorated in our London bakery. We’re famous for our attention to detail and believe in decorating our cakes individually - it’s all about skill, craft and small-batch baking, never mass production. Yes. Our specialist cake delivery team hand-delivers vintage cakes across London and all areas inside the M25, ensuring they arrive safely and looking exactly as they should. Our delivery service operates seven days a week.

We have two vintage cake delivery options in London: Our ANYTIME delivery will arrive between 8am and 5pm, or our premium PRE-MIDDAY option will arrive between 8am 12 noon. If you need a more specific timed delivery, or a direct private courier from our NW10 bakery to your event - reach out and talk to us, we'll be happy to look at options with you. Please note that as our cakes are handcrafted and delicate, they must either be delivered, or collected from our bakery.
All of our vintage cakes are baked fresh to order in our London bakery. We require 48 hours’ notice for vintage cake orders — so if you order on Monday, your cake can be ready for London delivery on Wednesday, for example. We do become extremely busy at weekends and during peak periods such as Mother’s Day, so it’s always worth ordering as far in advance as possible. If you need a vintage cake at short notice, we will always try to help, please contact us.
Yes. Names, messages and short greetings can be hand-piped directly onto the cake using buttercream. It’s one of the things that makes vintage cakes so much fun — every cake can be customised to suit the celebration. Many of our vintage cakes can be customised with additional piping, ribbon bows and glittery cherries. If you have something more bespoke in mind, get in touch, we'll be happy to discuss options. Absolutely. Most of our vintage cakes can be decorated in a wide range of colour combinations, from soft pastel palettes to bold bright full-on colours. Changing the colours can completely transform the look of the cake while keeping the classic vintage piping style. You'll be able to choose your bespoke vintage cake colour-scheme during checkout.
