From the gorgeous, tie-dyed effect sponge to the handmade macarons, this is one of our most impressive and delicious cakes. Make your party planets align with bold cosmic colours, stunning decorations and a galaxy effect that looks just as incredible when you slice into it as it does on the outside.
Our Galaxy Cake is luxurious from start to finish, from squishy sponges and silky icings to every painstakingly piped, handcrafted detail - all created in our award-winning London bakery. For over 13 years, our talented team of bakers and expert cake decorators has been making, baking and decorating some of London's best cakes, with the finest ingredients, because we believe that cakes should look amazing and taste even better.
Delivering Across The Galaxy - To London Actually
Our hand delivery service covers all areas of London inside the M25 - seven days a week. With specially trained drivers and full live tracking on your chosen day, delivery starts from £10.99. Choose from two delivery windows: ANYTIME 8am - 5pm, or PRE-MIDDAY 8am - noon.
Sponge: Four layers of Black Velvet and Madagascan vanilla tie-dyed sponges that taste as good as they look.
Filling: Belgian chocolate buttercream. Most bakeries add some cocoa powder to vanilla icing BUT that’s not the Flavourtown way! Our Belgian chocolate buttercream has over a kilo of melted Callebaut chocolate in every batch we make.
Frosting: Silky smooth Swiss meringue buttercream made with organic French butter and a hint of Madagascan vanilla.
Decoration: A galaxy-themed starry night frosting effect with a purple chocolate drip, splashes of gold lustre, our Galaxy sprinkle mix and handmade hand-painted macarons filled with pink Swiss meringue buttercream.

Cake care
Your Flavourtown cake is best eaten on the day you get your hands on it, but we know that often, our customers like to have their cake the day before the event. Storing your cake is easy; keep it in its box in a cool room or store it in the fridge if it’s particularly warm. If you keep your cake chilled, allow three to four hours for it to come to room temperature and for the sponge to soften.
