WHAT MAKES FLAVOURTOWN BAKERY DIFFERENT?
Winners of multiple Great Taste Gold Awards, suppliers to Harrods, Selfridges and some of London's biggest brands - we're Flavourtown Bakery. One of the UK's best bakeries, we've been making amazing cakes, cupcakes, cookies and brownies by hand, in small batches since 2013.
We use the absolute best ingredients money can buy and everything we do is about flavour, quality and taste.
We started out on a market stall at Old Spitalfields — no formal training, just a passion for creating the kind of cupcakes and cakes that nobody else was making in London. "We couldn't find the kind of cupcakes and cake that made us go weak at the knees, so we invented them," say founders Luke and Brooksy.
From that tiny market stall we were discovered by Selfridges (and went on to supply them for a number of years). Harrods discovered us in Selfridges (you couldn't write this stuff but it really happened) and we became their main supplier for five years.
Post-Covid, we decided to concentrate on supplying our amazing customers directly from our website with daily cake and cupcake deliveries across London.
Today, our talented team make cakes and cupcakes the only way we know how — with a meticulous eye for detail, quality and flavour. And if that means going the extra mile to source the finest ingredients from around the world, we do it.
We only use organic free-range farm-fresh eggs, accredited by the Organic Growers Association, The Soil Association, RSPCA Freedom Foods and British Red Lion Quality to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare. We use Lescure butter, churned by hand in the Charentes region of France, Callebaut extra-brut cocoa powder, the finest chocolates from Belgium and Italy, and the purest vanilla from Madagascar. Our fruit is all fresh and we handmake all our sauces, compotes, fillings and caramels.
