This cake was never meant to be part of the Flavourtown range. One of our fantastic cake decorators, Claire, invented it for our co-founders' birthday eight years ago. We shared it on Instagram and the response was immediate - customers kept asking for it to become a permanent part of the menu. We thought, why not give it a try? It’s now one of our top five all-time sellers. Perfect for birthdays and celebrations when you want both Red Velvet and Oreo, but only need one cake.
With alternating layers of delicious Red Velvet and Oreo sponge, plus Belgian chocolate truffles, every part of this amazing celebration cake is handmade by our talented team here in our award-winning London bakery. Sponge: Four alternating layers of our famous Red Velvet and squishy Oreo crumble sponges.
Filling: Filled with our delicious cream cheese icing, and Oreo crumbles between each layer.

Cake care
Your Flavourtown cake is best eaten on the day you get your hands on it, but we know that often, our customers like to have their cake the day before the event. Storing your cake is easy; keep it in its box in a cool room or store it in the fridge if it’s particularly warm. If you keep your cake chilled, allow three to four hours for it to come to room temperature and for the sponge to soften.
