Mythical Mane Unicorn Cake
What's it all about?
We went back and designed the cake WE would have wanted for our 5th Birthday party! If you’re not sure which Flavourtown cake to order for your child's birthday you will NEVER go wrong with our Mythical Mane Unicorn Cake
Sponge: You can choose! Either four squishy layers of sprinkle-festooned vanilla Funfetti sponge or six layers of our famous vanilla Rainbow cake.
Filling: Filled with our classic buttercream frosting made with Lescure butter and organic icing sugar.
Frosting: Buttercream is always going to be sweet right? Well, yes! BUT we use a much higher ratio of luxurious French butter and a much lower amount of icing sugar to give that perfect nostalgic taste without the mind-blowing sweetness.
Decoration: Swirls of ‘unicorn mane’ buttercream with handmade fondant ears, eyebrows and a gold glittery unicorn horn.

I’ve ordered the unicorn cake with rainbow filling for my daughter’s 4th birthday and it was the perfect choice! The cake was gorgeous (exactly as you see in the picture) and absolutely delicious! All kids (and parents!) loved the cake. I would definitely recommend this bakery.
Cake care
Your Flavourtown cake is best eaten on the day you get your hands on it, but we know that often, our customers like to have their cake the day before the event. Storing your cake is easy; keep it in its box in a cool room or store it in the fridge if it’s particularly warm. If you keep your cake chilled, allow three to four hours for it to come to room temperature and for the sponge to soften.
