In 2013 we started Flavourtown bakery with the sole aim to make London's best cakes, cupcakes and brownies! We've only ever used the worlds best ingredients, we've always made all of our sauces, caramels and fillings by hand using all natural ingredients in our London production kitchens and we've won loads of awards for our epic cake. Customers place orders online on our website and we hand deliver them across London along with selling our cakes and cupcakes in Harrods and Selfridges. We also have a brand new shop that opened late last year at Parsons Green.

Kitchen Manager / Head Decorator (Park Royal NW10)

Our Park Royal production kitchen is the hub of everything we do and we need a really special person to run the kitchen operation. You'll also be a VERY experienced cake decorator with mad skills and be capable of a full day decorating along with managing work-flow and team members.

It goes without saying that you'll be an outstanding decorator with loads of experience working in buttercream, Swiss Meringue buttercream, cream cheese icing and ganache. You'll also have great fondant skills and be comfortable making one-off commissions and wedding cakes.

You'll be really systems oriented and be really keen to put your stamp on how we work along with making sure that all health and safety paperwork is maintained and that we're always fully stocked with ingredients etc.

You'll also be leading our new product development and inventing new flavour combinations, cake ideas and leading our quality control.

You and your team will be responsible for baking and decorating our award winning range every day.

Salary: Circa £23 / 25k depending on experience with 29 days holiday per year, generous staff discount with room to develop further as we grow.

Baker (Park Royal NW10)

We’re looking to recruit a baker with EPIC skills to join our team in our Park Royal production kitchen. You’ll be an accomplished baker and ideally have previous experience of mixing and working with cakes, cupcakes and brownies.

Key Skills

  • At least one years baking experience in a similar environment
  • Outstanding skills with superb attention to detail
  • Experience making buttercream and cream cheese icing
  • A keen interest in food
  • Hard working, fun and energetic. You’ll be keen to learn and develop.
  • A real team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Basic food hygiene experience
  • Organised and willing to immerse yourself in our culture
  • Be physically fit as this is a demanding role

This is a killer role for an experienced baker with at least one years professional experience who isn’t afraid of deadlines and has a real eye for detail and quality

This position is based in our Park Royal production kitchen in NW10. Early starts (6am) and weekends will be part of this role. You must be UK based with the right to live and work here.

Preference given to candidates able to start quickly.

Salary: £9 / £10 per hour depending on experience with 29 days holiday per year, generous 50% staff discount, a free 8" cake on your birthday and a real chance to grow with us.

Job Type: Full-time - 32 to 40 hours per week with full-time contract (A variety of contracts are available)

Experienced Decorator / Supervisor (Park Royal)

We're looking for an experienced cake decorator to join our team in Park Royal NW10. You'll be working on our customer orders along with Harrods and Selfridges cakes. This role also includes supervisors responsibilities so you'll be equally comfortable motivating your shift to produce outstanding cakes.

This is a killer role for an experienced decorator with at least one years professional experience who isn’t afraid of deadlines and has a real eye for detail and quality

This position is based in our production kitchen in Park Royal NW10. Early starts (7am) and weekends will be part of this role. You must be UK based with the right to live and work here.

Salary: £10 / £10.50 per hour depending on experience with up to 29 days holiday per year (depending on days / hours worked), generous staff discount with room to develop further as we grow.

Job Type: Full-time - 30 to 40 hours per week with full-time contract.

Required experience: Cake Decorating: 1 year.
