PR & Marketing Manager
(Salary circa 25k depending on experience)
Our business is growing and we really need a mega talented Marketing and PR guru to help take what we do to another level. We'll expect the successful candidate to start generating PR week one and to develop a plan to make sure that Flavourtown stays in the forefront of the publics minds alongside generating relationships with the press and media.
Here's list of your responsibilities and key competencies:
* Generating press coverage alongside developing excellent relationships with relevant media across London
* Building relationships with closely targeted partners and key clients
* Gathering content for and managing our social media platforms to help us deliver our message and enhance our interaction with customers. You'll have an advanced experience all key social media platforms alongside Google Analytics
* A proven record of delivering projects with outstanding attention to detail - managing your own time is critical in this role.
* Create an events-led marketing calendar for the year to create sales and marketing opportunities.
* Implement and monitor an annual marketing strategy for driving traffic to Flavourtown’s website
* Identify key individuals we wish to contact with targeted and bespoke marketing initiatives
* Updating the company website and blogs working alongside our web developer and graphic designer to generate targeted content and accompanying visuals.
* Growing our database and writing and scheduling newsletters to keep our customers informed about seasonal ranges and new products.
* You’ll be totally customer service focused and be constantly looking at ways to make what we offer our customers even better.
This is a pretty big job and you’ll be doing it as part of a very small team so the ability to muck in and get involved with every aspect of our business is essential. You’ll be a driven self starter, have loads of ideas and be very systems oriented to help take our small business to its next level.
ideally we are looking for experience of working with a small / niche artisanal brand and it’s products. Excellent written communication skills with experience of drafting professional business reports, outstanding planning, organisational and time-management skills are all essential.
Starting salary is circa £25k depending upon experience

Head Baker Superstar
(Salary depending on experience with full time 40 hour contract)
Hey! We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Head Baker /Bakery Team Leader with excellent organisational skills.
You'll be based in our brand new production kitchen in Park Royal NW10 and you'll be responsible for producing our award winning cupcakes, cakes and brownies on a daily basis.
As the head of our small bakery team you'll be responsible for the quality of our scratch made gourmet products using only THE BEST ingredients! You'll be mixing and baking as well as ensuring that our production runs smoothly and efficiently alongside handing out tasks to our small baking team. You'll train each new member of staff to a high standard so that each mix is as good as the last and that all of our procedures and quality controls are met to the highest standards.
The duties for this role include:
1: Mixing and baking all Flavourtown Bakery products and managing the flow of the production schedule.
2: Training new team members and delegating the daily production schedule alongside making mixes (we are a small team)
3: Helping to develop new ideas, products and recipes and to help tweak existing methods so that our products are the best in London.
4: You'll be ordering stock from our suppliers and ensuring that we always have what we need and that goods are correctly rotated.
5: Ensuring that all Food Safety Law is adhered to and that systems are in place for a clean and tidy kitchen.
6: You'll be bringing your ideas and experiences to the table to help make Flavourtown Bakery run more efficiently.
We are ideally looking for a person with previous experience in a similar role having led a small team in a professional kitchen of a bakery environment. We only bake cupcakes, cakes and brownies and this post requires an excellent knowledge of baking / mixing methods.
You must be able to communicate fluently in English (spoken and written) and have a lively personality and not be phased by a fast moving busy kitchen.
We have very high standards and we are looking for a candidate with creativity, energy, ideas and enthusiasm - a great attitude is very important.
We are looking for someone to start ASAP although we are prepared to wait on a notice period for exactly the right person.
The position has a starting salary of £20,000 / £22,000 based on a 40 hour contract with 29 days holiday per year ( theres an extra one in there for your birthday). You'll be flexible with shift patterns with earlies and / or lates forming a part of this position.

We're looking for a unique individual to take over possibly the most important job in our small gourmet bakery. We absolutely have to get THE right person for this position and we have a pretty exhaustive list of the qualities we need.....
Our office / customer service manager will be the first point of contact for customers who will typically be calling to place orders, ask questions and make payments. These customers need to get amazing customer service and they need to feel like their order is THE most important thing on our radar so here are some of the skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone pretty special to deliver freshly baked happiness across London...
We make delicious deliveries of gourmet hand made cakes, cupcakes and brownies and we need a friendly customer facing person to join our team. You’ll be delivering to homes, business and offices across London as well as to our major partners Harrods and Selfridges daily.
You’ll be driving our branded van so we expect a high level of respect for other road users, proven experience of driving in that famous Central London traffic and outstanding spoken English skills. Starts will be around 6am.
